Junior Golf 2008
Junior Golf at Echo Hills is an annual tradition for many families. We provide group lessons to kids age 10 to 18, at all skill levels. The students work on the fundamentals of grip, stance and swing, as well as learning the rules of golf and golf etiquette. Sportsmanship and a good attitude are stressed at all times.
Beginners meet on Monday mornings at 8:00 for four weeks. Each lesson is 1-½ to 2 hours long, working around the practice green and the practice net. If time allows, those students who are ready may play one or two holes the final weeks of the session. June session begins June 2, and the July session begins July 7. Cost is $25.00.
9- and 18-holers meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays for four weeks. They are given a half hour group lesson focusing on a specific lesson each week, and then they go out to play either 9 or 18 holes. A Student/Parent tournament at the end of each session provides a fun end to the lessons. June session begins June 3 and the July session begins July 8. Cost is $45.00.
